IMPORTANCE OF FUNDRAISING:

Running a football and cheer organization involves significant costs often not fully understood by the community. Each home game incurs expenses ranging from $1,800 to $2,500. This includes the cost of referees, which can be between $800 and $1,000 depending on the number of games played, and the cost of EMT services, which is $300.

We offer affordable registration fees to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate. However, to cover the expenses of each home game, we rely heavily on fundraising efforts and revenue from the snack bar and gate entry fees.

We appreciate the community's support in our fundraising initiatives, which are essential to maintaining the quality and accessibility of our programs.

 

Football Fees:

The registration fee includes the cost of the uniform, one mouth guard, MYFL shoulder pads, and a helmet.

Parents are responsible for purchasing cleats, socks, and additional mouth guards. It is recommended that mouth guards with a strap be bought, which are available at Walmart or Amazon.

Hyatt Field in Monticello, Arkansas.

 

Practice Schedule:

Football Practice:

• Practice for 3rd-4th grade and 5th-6th grade football will begin in July.
• Your coach will notify you of the exact practice dates, times, and locations.

Cheer Practice:

• Practice for 3rd-4th grade and 5th-6th grade cheer will begin in July.
• Your coach will notify you of the exact practice dates, times, and locations.

 

Football Expectations:

This competitive program will focus on developing football fundamentals, fostering a passion for the sport, building confidence, nurturing leadership skills, and ensuring participants have fun.

 

Cheerleading Expectations:

Our cheerleading program will emphasize developing cheer fundamentals, promoting a love for cheerleading, building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and creating a fun and supportive environment.

Thank you for signing up with the Monticello Billies Youth Football & Cheer Program. We are not just a football program; we are a family dedicated to developing young men and women and shaping our future. As part of the South Arkansas Youth Football Conference (SAYFC), we will face fierce competition from surrounding areas. Our goal is to make this the best program possible. With time and parent support/participation, the Monticello Billies will continue to grow each year, achieving great results. We appreciate you allowing your child(ren) to be part of the Billies this season.
